Entry-level robotics and programming
Campers get a head start on simple robotics using LEGO® WeDo™ components and easy to use software. Our young creators will build models, attach sensors, and motors that are linked into a computer’s processor. Beyond that our campers learn to configure robotic behaviors using a simple programming tool which allows their Lego creations to come to life.. Counselors guide campers through their first 12 robot models, which include a variety of animals, soccer players, mechanisms, and adventure stories.
After students advance in their programming skills, campers then move to advanced building and programming projects that include: Race cars, Ferris Wheels, and Carousels. As the week draws to a close, campers utilize the skills they have learned to build an X-wing Fighter or Marine Helicopter. Parents are invited to join us on Friday’s Family Day to view their child’s creations.
Campers will also complete a small LEGO® project that they will be able to take home.
